About

We were going to start a reading group. I read The Brothers Karamazov by myself. Then I started to give up hope. After a stretch I decided to start this blog, where I can at least talk to myself about books. It’s not book reviews, its book-inspired musings. Suggestions welcome. 🙂

  1. Dad says:

I just read Dicken’s Christmas Carol and I’m simultaneously plowing through books by Ortberg, Moreland, Willard, Craig, and others. On our coffee table I have a very nice commentary on Mark by IVP’s Ancient Christian Commentary on Scripture which I will conveniently move to the dining room table. But the books I’m most anxious to dive into are three by James Bryan Smith, the 3rd of which was just published. They are The Good and Beautiful God, The Good and Beautiful Life, and The Good and Beautiful Community. However, I’m halfway through a collection of short stories by John Buchan that I can’t put down and I just downloaded onto my Kindle a host of free collections.
